We're the home of the Milky Way Farm and Mansion--founded by Mr. Frank
Mars who invented the Milky Way Candy bar. We're also the home of
Pulaski--an All America City in 1993.
"The Land of Milk and Honey." Giles County is an ideal
stopover for vacationers who enjoy a progressive community that
preserves its cultural heritage.

Methodist College, a quality 4-year Liberal Arts College founded
in 1870.

GILES COUNTY COURTHOUSE
Public Square, Pulaski. 931-363-5300. Erected in 1909, the neoclassical
building is marked by tall Corinthian columns. Solid brass door
pulls are incised "Giles" Inside a balcony encircles the
third floor and 16 caryatids (female faces) hold up the arched vault
of the rotunda with stained glass skylight. In the cupola, the 1858
bell still strikes the hours. Open Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. -4 p.m. Free.
LIMOLAND In October, Limoland is open for school tours,
hayrides & pick-your-own pumpkin patch. Also, find mums, gourds
& farm animals for the children. The greenhouses are open April
& May with homegrown strawberries & flowers for sale. Hours:

LYNNVILLE RAILROAD MUSEUM Completely rebuilt depot in early
1900, style adds historic charm to down town area. Antique steam
locomotive, coach, flat car, and caboose. Open to the public. 151

OLD GRAVEYARD MEMORIAL PARK Cemetery & S. First St.,
38478. 931-363-3789 (Chamber of Commerce). Dedicated in 1969, was
a pilot project in urban beautification. Cemetery was used from
1817-1883. The renovation project included the locating and charting
all grave sites, cleaning and mounting grave stones, and landscaping
and lighting the grounds. The cemetery contains the graves of many
of the early settlers. Open all year. Free.
PULASKI HISTORIC SQUARE Public Square & First St. 931-363-3789
(Chamber of Commerce). This small town has a strong historic preservation
program. The entire square is listed on the National Register of
Historic Places. A center of fine 18th & 19th century architecture,
the Tennessee Historical Commission team declared in 1983, that
Pulaski's square was among the finest courthouse squares in Middle
Tennessee.
SAM DAVIS MONUMENT South Side of Public Square, Pulaski.
This statue was erected by the United Daughters of the Confederacy
and unveiled in 1906 during the State Reunion of Confederate Veterans
which was held in Pulaski.
SAM DAVIS MUSEUM Sam Davis Ave., Pulaski This is the location
of the hanging of the boy hero. The museum was built in 1950 with
funds appropriated by the State Legislature. Tours by appointment
only.
Historic Downtown Lynnville Offers visitors a glimpse of
life in a small town.
MARTIN METHODIST COLLEGE Located in Pulaski. We've been
helping young people aim at their goals for well over a century.
The school was founded in 1870 to fulfill the dream of one young
visionary, Victoria Martin. Her father established the school for
people like her who hoped their lives would make the world a better
place for everyone. Now a remarkable variety of academic, athletic
and social opportunities make Martin Methodist College the place
where hundreds of young people each year create a vision for their
lives.
