In 1870 George Dickel used the pure water from the Cascade Springs to distill his first bottle of Tennessee whisky. Today the distillery still handcrafts the whisky in the same unique way George did over 130 years ago— because George thought whisky made in the winter was smoother, this is the only Tennessee whisky to chill before it goes into the charcoal mellowing vats.
Leave George Dickel and drive to Jack Daniel’s Distillery located at Route 1, Lynchburg, Tennessee 37352. Phone: 931-759-6183 Open Daily from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm except Holidays.
