Rich in history, Tullahoma has long been known as a city that is as unique as its name. Tullahoma is the only city in the world bearing this name. An Indian word, "Tullahoma" is believed by many to mean "a land of golden flowers," but probably is derived from the Choctaw words for "red" and "rock." Indians first used the area around Tullahoma as a hunting ground and it became a desirable tribal location because of the presence of abundant springs flowing with pure water. Nestled in the rolling hills of middle Tennessee and surrounded by lakes, wood, rivers and streams and a State Natural Area, Tullahoma is still a hunting, fishing, and boating paradise. Golfers seem to like it here, too.
Manchester, Tennessee, the County Seat of Coffee County, is located on the Highland-Rim of Middle Tennessee on Interstate 24 about equidistant from Nashville and Chattanooga. It lies near the headwaters of Duck River with the surrounding terrain being flat to moderately rolling. The City was established in 1836. The economy was largely agricultural until the 1960's with marked industrial growth taking place during recent years.

ARNOLD ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT CENTER: Sprawing Air Force Installation located on 41,000 acres of government reservation between Tullahoma and I-24. BEANS CREEK WINERY - 426 Ragsdale Road, Manchester, TN 37355. Founded in 2003, The winery is located in the heart of middle Tennessee at I-24 (Exit 111) and Hwy. 55 in Manchester. Wines offered range from dry full bodied reds thru sweet whites and fruit wines. Beans Creek Winery began as a dream no larger than a grape. Tom made his first wine in 1976 in his mother's kitchen with childhood friends Joe and Dan Lasater. Tom has spent 27 years perfecting our award winning wine style using grapes and fruit that grow well in Tennessee. In 2003 with the help and support of other winegrowing families our dream became reality. Our member vineyards are located in Coffee, Warren and Williamson Counties of middle Tennessee. We purchase grapes from growers in Sumner, Robertson, Sequatchie, loudon and Sullivan counties of Tennessee. MANCHESTER RECREATION COMPLEX is a 69,000 sq.ft. multi use recreational facility with an additional 10,000 sq. ft or outdoor pool area.
