South Central Tennessee Tourism - Distillery
South Central Tennessee has a new Wine and Spirits Trail. We think you will love it. We are lucky enough to have 3 Distilleries in our area of Tennessee. We also have 7 wineries. So plan to spend a day or a few days to travel our great back roads and enjoy the sites. All of the distilleries have free tours. 
Our 3 Distilleries are: Jack Daniel's Distillery, located in Lynchburg. Located in Tullahoma, TN is George Dickel Distillery and located in Kelso, TN is Prichard's Distillery. All of the Distillery's have free tours. We suggest you go to all of them and get the full experience of Tennessee Whiskey and Tennessee Rum.
Prichard's Fine Rum is the primary and best selling product of Prichard's Distillery. We use the finest water and the best premium molasses to create our rum and then we store it in homemade charred white oak barrels where it takes on the character of a fine brandy. Noted spirits experts have declared our Fine Rum to be among the 15 best rums in the world. Our Crystal Rum, Cranberry Rum, Sweet Georgia Belle and Sweet Lucy, all relatively new are also proving to be real favorites. When you visit, you will see the copper pot stills used to make these wonderful spirits, see the barrels stored in small warehouses and you'll leave knowing how to make rum. Free tours are conducted every day from 9 am to 4:30 pm. starting at the beautiful Jack Daniel's Visitor Center. This National Historic site is located in Moore County. For more than a century, every drop of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey found anywhere in the world continues to be made here using our unique charcoal-mellowing process. As Mr. Jack liked to say, "Every day we make it, we'll make it the best we can." Come tour the distillery and discover George Dickel's award winning whisky and its time honored traditions. The Visitor's Center is filled with antiques, photo's and special memories, and the George Dickel Store is a wonderful place to visit and drop a line to family or friends at our very own U.S. Post Office - the only working post office at any distillery in the United States.
