Lawrence
County, Tennessee
Lawrence County has a rich tradition in music as the home of Southern
Gospel Music and the location of a major Bluegrass Festival every
year in Summertown, TN.
Want to tour authentic Amish Farms? Lawrence County takes pride
in the large Amish Communities in Lawrence County. Many Amish offer
goods for sale on their farms. The Amish preserve a peaceful and
respectful way of life. Those of us that are not Amish respect our
neighbors that are Amish. We would love for you to visit Lawrence
County and tour Amish Country. If you tour Amish Country, please
respect the Amish as they respect all others. There aren't many
hard and fast rules but please don't enter their properties on Sunday,
their Sabbath, and they do not like to have their pictures taken
up close.
Looking for a little peace and quiet? Then take a look at Davy
Crockett State Park. Crockett Park has camp grounds, hiking trails,
a restaurant which offers some great country cooking and a lake
