Perry County, Tennessee

One of the most scenic counties in Tennessee. Enjoy canoeing on beautiful Buffalo River or fishing in the Tennessee River. Perry County has the best recreational activities found anywhere. We are home to two rivers that offer water sports of all kinds. The Tennessee River runs our entire western border and offers marinas, boat ramps, camping, fishing, duck hunting, a natural area and a state park. Numerous streams contribute the water quality of the Tennessee. It’s large enough for commercial barge traffic and deep draft boats of all sizes, and ideal for all pleasure boating and fishing.

Centrally located in our county is the clear blue "Mountain-like stream", the Buffalo River. The Buffalo River offers canoeing, camping, and fishing. Major hunting opportunities, ranging from white tail deer to wild turkey also await your pleasure.

Linden is the county seat of picturesque Perry County. Friendly people and southern hospitality await the tourists!

Lobelville Lobelville was established in 1854 as a post village and named after Henry DeLobel, a French immigrant who lived in the area seventeen years before returning to France. DeLobel's name is carved in old English script in a nearby cave. This town is a quiet yet thriving community, which has kept its small town charm. The friendly folks of Lobelville invite you to stop by.
